An online catalog is pretty similar with an online shop with shopping cart and payment capabilities disabled. For an online catalogue, not all the time the best solution is an ecommerce software, but an open source, powerfull Content Management System (CMS), which let our programmers to implement proprietary or 3rd party modules.
